Ability to edit Order Total, Subtotal, ID, and Shipping Paid

I would love the ability to edit the following in Orders:

  • Order ID
  • Order Total
  • Subtotal (incl. tax)
  • Shipping Paid
  • Order Date

If I make a mistake when adding manual orders, or if I need to create an order to calculate accurate shipping costs BEFORE invoicing my customer, there is currently no way to go back and edit these details.

I agree with BreeAnn, being able to edit a manual order after it's been created would be a huge help.  We bill our customers with exact shipping amounts, so we do not know that amount until we rate the order.

I too would find it beneficial to be able to edit Order subtotals. We export our orders from an X-Cart 5 online store, and sometimes we have to make alterations to our orders. We print the ShippingEasy packing lists and though we can update the orders, the incorrect totals displayed on the packing slips are confusing. To be able to manually make this accurate without having to hand-write on the slip would be amazing!

I would find these options very helpful.  If a customer changes their order after it's placed (and sent to shipping easy), I can communicate with them and change their order however they still receive a tracking email with incorrect information from the original order, which is confusing (usually the total $$ is not correct).  As someone else mentioned, you many times have to create an order to get a shipping cost, such as with international orders and it would be nice to not have to delete and recreate the order once you know your shipping cost.
