Combining orders doesn't combine totals on new packing slip.
Seems like a simple thing to implement. We always include the packing slip, but dealing with combined orders has added additional manual work since providing the new packing slip would be confusing for our customer.

At this time, we don't have a specific release date for this feature but it is on our team's list to consider for prioritization. I've gone ahead and logged your support of this as well.
