I have noticed recently I will add a balance say $10, buy a postage for $7 and I am left with $3, but when I log back in my balance is always in the negative (for example it is now - $2.15 when I haven't used it since it was at $3?
Any idea why this could be happening. Sometimes it goes down from $8-9 I had left to minus -$9!

With negative balances, that is usually because of Automated Package Verification (APV). APV program will verify correct postage has been paid on every domestic package, based on weight, dimensions, package type, mailing service, and the origin and destination ZIP codes If it's under-weighed or over-weighed, the adjustment will be made for that label. I have included a helpful article on APV, and how to log into your Stamps.com account to see those adjustments.

Once you log into your Stamps.com account, if you click on the History tab, you'll see all the labels created and an adjustment column with an adjustment price if that label was adjusted.
