Unable to buy postage

I have see other posts like this one, but no specific resolution is posted. I am getting this error when trying to purchase more postage:

 

Purchase failed. Account exception Exception with code 0x00560102; module 86, category 1, item 2

Sorry for any confusion with this issue. That general error from Stamps.com means that the payment is not being accepted, but you would need to contact Stamps.com directly to find out why.

It could be the bank is rejecting the charge, or it may be they had an issue changing the card on file if you recently switched cards. If you had recently switched cards they would need to check your account for a "postage override" to make sure the card switch did take place on their end.

Unfortunately, we do not have more detailed information on those billing errors on our end.

Please contact Stamps.com at 1 (855) 889-7867 with your account ID found on the Postage and Carriers page in ShippingEasy and they should be able to assist!
