Our merchants have been discussing issues with ShippingEasy and our app One Click Upsell from the Zipify team.
In May, Shopify rolled out a new fulfillment API that takes into accounts apps like ours that edit orders post-purchase; details on it here: https://shopify.dev/changelog/post-purchase-fulfillment-holds
Fulfillment apps such as ShippingEasy will need to make a change; for example, delay order processing up to a time of the merchant's choosing (say, 1 hour) and during that time, re-pull all line items on the order to see if there were add-ons.
Most fulfillment providers are now updating their integration to Shopify to account for this new version of how some Shopify orders may work (edited orders)
This is a huge issue for our merchants leading to a loss in revenue. When will the changes to the post-purchase fulfillment holds be updated?
