Update Store with Shipment Tracking | How To

By default, ShippingEasy is configured to automatically update your orders after you print your labels. You can manage when your orders are updated in the Notifications tab of your Store Settings.

Regardless of when you have set ShippingEasy to notify your store, issues can occur on rare occasions when updating your store. The following may result in an error updating your store:

  • The order line items were edited in ShippingEasy.

  • Your store is disconnected, not live, or in maintenance mode.

  • You have enabled a redirect for your store's URL.

  • The API connection to your store experienced a timeout.

  • There are threshold limits set in your store.

To see if your order is having issues updating to your store:

  1. Select any or all failed orders. A black triangle icon by the shipment indicates that there was an issue updating your store.

  2. Expand the Resend/Retry button at the top of the screen, then select Retry Store Order Updates.

Shipment history showing 2 orders selected. The Resend/Retry dropdown is expanded with Retry Store Order Updates marked.
  3. Wait 20 minutes and check your store for those order updates.

Some platforms can take longer than others to update, but all successful updates should post within 20 minutes.

Resend Update for an Individual Order

You can also resend an order update to your store from the order details. Locate the order using Global Search, then click the order number to view the full details.

On the Order details page, if the store has failed to update, there will be a link to Retry Store Updates. Click this link to resend the update.
