Include "Insured" on the labels of insured packages

Packages that are insured should be noted as such on the label.  None of the packages that I have insured have had any sort of notation acknowledging that they are insured.

Hello Debbie - Thanks for contributing this idea to our forums!  We've actually intentionally omitted any mention that your shipments have been insured as marking your packages would bring unwanted attention.  However, Shipsurance does have some printable package inserts that can be placed within your packages.  This let's your customers know that you've taken the added measure to insure their shipment with a trusted company and also provides brief instructions in the case of a damaged delivery.  You can download this printable insert.

And where do I find the Shipsurance certificate number that is asked for on this very small insert?

Hello Debbie - I apologize for overlooking this line of the insert.  After speaking with our Shipsurance representative, they recommend writing/typing in "shippingeasy" as these inserts were not specifically designed with partnerships such as the Shipsurance-ShippingEasy one in mind.  However, we will also be working with Shipsurance to create a new customized insert specifically for ShippingEasy accounts.

It's been 3 years, have the new customized insert specifically for ShippingEasy accounts been created yet?

Hello Joe,

Thanks for raising this question! I'm so sorry for the oversight on our part.

Shipsurance no longer requires any certificate or policy # on the insert. To make this clearer, they have provided a new insert that removes this field. Click here to download the Shipsurance - ShippingEasy package insert.
