When an item is cancelled from an order, it shows as if the customer has purchased the item with a $0.00 price attached to it. This is definitely confusing since there's nothing to indicate that the item should not be shipped. Plus, it adds to the confusion in determining the correct shipping method for the order.

It also includes the weight from the item in the shipping screen as only the price was made 0.00, so the shipping rules are not applied correctly.

You make an excellent point. Our API with Amazon does not permit us to canceled items within that order nor do we update the order to remove the item canceled. Instead, any item within an order that is canceled will show a price of $0.00.

That said, I will make sure the product team sees your requests for this process to be altered.

I noticed one other issue with canceled items. When I processed all the labels for my Amazon orders, all the tracking info was uploaded to Amazon with the exception of the order with the canceled item. I had to go into Seller Central and manually confirm the shipping for this particular order.

And the point that Steve makes is also true where the shipping rules would be applied incorrectly to orders with cancelled items.
