I have verified the issue that you're seeing and escalated a ticket with our developers. I'll post an update on our progress back here to the forums.

We identified two separate bugs related to the {{shipment.shipping_paid}} variable. One appears when a packing slip is printed before a label is purchase. The other appears when the packing slip is printed after the label is purchased.

Last night our development team deployed a fix that ensures that the {{shipment.shipping_paid}} variable displays correctly when the packing slip is printed after the label is purchased.

The team is still working on a fix for packing slips printed before the label is purchased. I don't have an ETA at this time, but I'll provide another update when I receive more information.

Thanks Jennifer! Printing after the label is purchased fits our use case, so we should be good. Do you know if the following shipping variables are available with this latest release: subtotal, tax, discount/credits?
