Assign Shipping Providers to label format/type?

ShippingEasy Update: We have another similar thread to this. Please see this additional thread.

Is there any way to have shipping providers associated with a label format? For example I print my UPS and FedEx labels on thermal printers but my USPS I print on my Laser jet printer. As a result every time I print something USPS I go in and change my label format because if I don't I get a giant label that covers my 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Right now you can associate certain printers with certain shipping providers in shipping easy. Was hoping for something like that with the shipping label formats. Hope that makes sense.

This is an interesting idea. For most, our ConnectEasy printer options work well for this but it sounds like you may need more related to formatting. Can you explain your process, what sizes you print for each label type, and what printer each should go to so that I can gain a better understanding of your need?

Thank you for the response and I definitely can. Right now we have a thermal printer from both UPS and FedEX. When we use either of those providers we print on those printers and as a result we go to settings>Labels then make sure it is set on "4" x 6" Label". When we ship USPS we have to go to settings>Labels then make sure it is set on "4" x 6" Label (2 Centered Half Sheet Labels)" and then print on the Laser printer.

Now I love that all the providers can have different associated printers because of ConnectEasy, and as a result I don't constantly have to go in and switch the printer manually. I just would love it if I didn't have to go in and change from "4" x 6" Label" to "4" x 6" Label (2 Centered Half Sheet Labels)" manually every time I wanted to ship something post office. Would be nice if the system just knew that I wanted the "4" x 6" Label (2 Centered Half Sheet Labels)" for all USPS postage and "4" x 6" Label" for UPS and FedEx postage. Hope that makes more sense.
