The "Reports" is lacking a basic feature, one should be able to separate multiple items within the same order in different lines, not having them in the same column separated by comas.
If you have an order X that has 2 items of product A and 2 item of product B, one you create the report, for order X will show Quantity 3 but you don't know how many of product A and how many of product B.

Thank you very much for your post. I can see how this would be able to help with the reporting of different merchants and tracking inventory sales. This feature request has been added to our documentation for consideration.
While your request is under consideration, there may be some reporting options that can help to track some of your sales. One report in particular that merchants have found helpful is the Shipped Products Report. This goes into detail on the number of products shipped over a specific time period, you can read more about this HERE.

I couldn't agree more. Shipstation allows this and it is really nice. For example, I use it to create an file to send to some of my drop shippers. Right now I have had to keep my Shipstation account open and sync orders with it as well to do this.
It is also good to be able to create my own custom reports in excel or any other software. It creates a master record to keep track of all my orders and what items were sold.
In shipstation it allows you to export orders like shipping easy or "Export Order Line Items"
