Dashboard Enhancement - Delivery Exceptions

0

Shipping hundreds of packages each day/week, it would be very helpful to have an Package Exception Alert tile that lists packages/tracking numbers that have not been scanned in by the courier or have missed their expected delivery date.

Example 1: A label was created on Day 1 and on Day 3 the label has not been scanned by the courier.  This could indicate the package was lost or never shipped.  This would alert our shipping department to investigate and possibly reship the order to avoid missing the delivery date.

Example 2: A package is en route to the destination, however, the expected delivery date is taking longer than scheduled.

  - Priority package shipped on Day 1 and on Day 3 the package shows an expected delivery date of Day 5.  Since this is a USPS Priority Package (1-3 Days), the Shipping Easy system can alert us that a package will miss its expected delivery date.

  - USPS First Class package shipped on Day 1 and on Day 3 the package shows an expected delivery date of Day 8.  Since this is a USPS Priority Package (1-5 days), the Shipping Easy system and alert us that a package will miss its expected delivery date.

Same goes for any courier.  Shipping Easy can calculate the origin and destination along with the tracking details to provide Delivery Exception Alerts so we can be proactive with our customers.

The most important part of this is when a package has not received an original scan or has not been scanned for 2 days.  This can alert us to a lost package.

Thank you
