Products currently have wholesale price field but this is static. Would be wonderful to have it be dynamic and adjust based on FIFO/LIFO/AVG costing as well as track historically against previously sold items when costs are different.

Hi Eric,
Thank you very much for your feedback! Customer feedback is incredibly helpful to us as a means of learning what could help our merchants, so we know which new features to build. This feature will be under consideration for prioritization.
If you know of any other sellers that would benefit from this feature, please ask them to comment or post here as well. If we hear this request from other customers, we will ask them to comment or follow here as well.
I agree, this kind of function should be available in BC!
Hi,
I was hoping to get some more information so I can update our Product Team. Is this request in relation to the Wholesale Price or the Unit Cost?
Looking forward to your feedback!
Wholesale price!
Yes, Wholesale price..............
Thanks, everyone! I will pass this on to our Product Team!
We are definitely interested in this feature. Many inventory programs use this method for calculating inventory value/cost and it would save time for your users to have this automated instead of manually adjusting our accounting to reflect the real costs.
Hi Amy,
Thank you very much for your post! We greatly appreciate your feedback. I’ve documented your request and it will be under consideration for prioritization.
This feature is critical to making this a complete software. FIFO and/or weighted average method is desperately needed. Either option would work but a setting to change it to the user's preferred costing method would be even better. Everything else in ShippingEasy works very well but this is becoming an increasing pain point for us and taking way too much time to do it manually.
Costs of bundles would also need to be automatically updated based on the components' costs.
Please make this feature top priority. I would love to stay with ShippingEasy if possible but the lack of this feature is making me look into other options, unfortunately.

UPDATE: ShippingEasy retired the Inventory Management subscription in June of 2020. Our Product Catalog stores a comprehensive list of the products you sell and allows you to add your product information to leverage product and SKU details to ship more efficiently. Learn more about our Product Catalog.
At this time, we will no longer be building out Inventory Management features.
Existing Inventory Management subscribers will still have the ability to use the features specific to Inventory Management, however, we are no longer supporting new subscribers.
