Customer Marketing Upload

Hey guys, I'm trying to begin using ShippingEasy for my email marketing. When I try to upload the CSV of my email list from Mailchimp (with over 4,000 contacts), it is requiring me to have physical address, city, state, and country information for every contact. They all have * by them, and I therefore can't upload any of my information.  Anyone else encountered this? Found a workaround? According to ShippingEasy's own help page, I should only be required to provide first name, last name, and email address.

Thanks for any help!

Hello Wendell!

Thanks for posting to our community today.

I was able to take a look at the CSV file you are trying to upload and did notice a few things.

First, It looks like you may be trying to upload a lot of partial addresses. Some of the others have the whole address in the address field, when it should be parsed separately into fields, such add Address Line 1, City, State and Zip Code. Here is more info on the fields and how they are mapped:

CSV Customer Marketing Upload: Column mapping & required fields

Also, it looks like you have first & last name listed in the first name column, then you have the last name listed again in another column. You will need to fix that before you complete the upload so you won't have duplicate names like Matt Example Example.

If you need an example template for formatting reasons, you can access that here:

CSV Customer Marketing Upload: Sample CSV file

You are correct that only the First and Last name, or Full name, along with the email are required. If you do not need the addresses, you can remove the columns and/or choose not to map them during the mapping process.

I hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.
