Email Sign up Form Should be Customizable

The Email sign up form is nice, but we need it to be customizable.  If we are offering a coupon or something as a reward for signing up, there is no way to change the current sign up form, not even the text.  

For example, ,I want to say:   "Sign up and receive a $5 coupon."

Agreed,  I want to make the sign up form look like my website to reinforce the brand recognition.  For example my last signup form had a background layer that looked like knitted fabric.
