Calculate shipping cost from a different zip code than the one on the return address / FedEx and UPS

0

Currently the system is set up where we can create a shipping label with a return address that is different from where it actually ships from. However, the shipping cost is calculated based on the zip code in the return address rather than from where it actually ships from for UPS and FedEx. (This is currently available only for USPS)

This will be an extremely helpful addition for us because we blind label drop ship for our customers all the time using FedEx and UPS. We want the package to appear like it is coming directly from them, even though it will be shipping out of our facility. However, when we bill our customers for the shipping the cost, it will be incorrect because the system is calculating as if it was coming from their address.

Thanks for your consideration!

What a great suggestion! I will be sure to pass this along to the development team.

Please continue to post your thoughts and requests to our forum so that we are aware of our shippers' interests. Should we make any headway with this feature we will make note in this thread, so be sure to "follow" it for any updates.

As always, thank you for your feedback and happy shipping!

This would also be useful to our business.  Has any further consideration been given to implementing it?

Hi Cheryl,

Unfortunately, this has not been prioritized. However, if you notice anyone in the forums who could use this feature, please send them to this thread. The more interest we see in a feature, the more likely we are to prioritize. Thanks!

I can't believe this isn't a feature. This is basic shipping feature from UPS and FedEx. Hopefully this gets added soon. This is important enough to us that will we need to look elsewhere if this is not added.

Hello Connor - I wish I had better news, but presently we do not have this scheduled for development.

For anyone interested in this feature, please provide details about when you need to use an alternate zip code for FedEx and/or UPS shipments. The more information our team has, the better we're able to understand the impact this feature will have on our customers.
