Add PDF option to Reprint drop down

With the new ability to Quick Print to different printers for different labels, we have lost the ability to pull up a PDF using the reprint button. This causes an issue if you are out a location where your printer is not (for instance at home) and you accidentally click on "Print Now" instead of "Print Later". Once you do this, there is no way to get a PDF version of the label in order to print it out on a local printer. 

It would be helpful to have something like "Label as PDF" and "Packing Slip as PDF" added as options to the Reprint drop-down button.

Great news! We now have enabled the ability to print a PDF, even if you have the Java Applet or ConnectEasy turned on for printing.

The Ready to Print and Shipment History, now displays, under the "Reprint" icon, a “page” icon to print a PDF and a "printer" icon to print directly with your usual solution.

Follow up: Even doing Print Later does not work to be able to generate a PDF. Currently I have to go to settings, set it to PDF instead of the Connect Easy printer, get the label PDF, then go back to settings and set it back..

Just so I am clear on your exact work flow, you are proposing these PDF options on the Shipment History page, correct?

That is correct. It would also be helpful to have it on the ready to print screen, so people can do "Print Later" and then get a PDF instead of always printing to the ConnectEasy printer.

Justin,

This is a great idea. Currently, you can view a PDF by changing your printer selections, but I can see how this could be cumbersome. I will forward the request to have a new button or drop down to specifically view/print the PDF for labels and packing slips.
