We are working on a feature that would allow you to filter our Orders page so that it just displays orders that have matching recipient names. Would that approach work for you?

Not really. I would not know they have two orders. So unless it automatically did it, I would miss it.

The filter feature I mentioned went live last night. It does automatically highlight the recipient name on any order where that recipient has another order on the Orders page. I'd really like to have the option to automate this.  So when viewing orders I could receive a notification that I have x orders that could possibly be combined.   Then a simple way to choose if I want to combine them or not.   Ebays bulk shipping feature does this really well.

Ideally when viewing the orders page it would have a notification that there are orders that could potentially be combined.  It would also show a list of combinable orders with the option for each to combine them or not.

That's how Ebay bulk shipping does it, which makes it very easy.   And, it's saved me a lot on shipping costs by combining orders that I would otherwise have shipped separately.

We actually have a filter on the Orders page for orders with multiple recipients. To use this, you can go to the filters on the left > click on "Recipient" > then "Duplicates". It will filter for recipients that have more than 1 order. Does this work for you? 

I did see that.  It works but is just another step to remember to do that can easily be overlooked.

My thought was that having an option to be automatically notified could easily save your users time and money.  It's a great feature that ebay bulk shipping offers that has personally saved me quite a bit in shipping fees.

I would also like to see this.  It's not practical to expect the operator to always notice combinable orders, and when there are many orders the flags may not be visible at all.

Right now the next best choice is to select the option to bulk combine all orders to same recipients, but its still an extra manual step and automation is why we are here.
