It would be awesome to get delivery notifications sent to the recipient and/or a store admin based on the delivery status. If you could set that up with Rules it would be even better.
For example: An item is marked as delivered by USPS, an email is sent automatically "Hey <customer>, I wanted to let you know we just got a notification that your "product" is in your mailbox, I can't wait for you to open it"
OR
3 days after delivery: "Hey <customer>, did everything get there ok? I was just checking in on your delivery and it looks like it was marked as delivered a couple days ago. If it hasn't showed, or something seems off, let me know ASAP :)"
We do a lot of promotional samples so it would be a great automatic Lead followup tool as well, both as a notification that we should be checking in, or as an automatic check-in for us. It keeps the ball rolling automatically.
Anyway, it would be great if that was on your future list of implementations :)
