UPS/FedEx - Allow multiple scale readings for Multi-package

We have one hiccup with our Mettler-Toledo PS-60 scale on ShippingEasy. It works fine on the first package of multi-package shipment, but if the shipment requires us to enter more packages, the small added-package window does not display the weight of a second package--it retains the weight of the original package, which is inconvenient.

To wit, weighing the parcel, entering dimensions, etc. On a UPS shipment, we have the ability to Add A Package (or more than one) by hitting the little Plus button. When that happens, a small Multi-Package Shipment window appears, where we can enter the Name of the package, the Weight of the package, and the Dimensions of the package. Unfortunately, ShippingEasy's ConnectEasy scale feature does not read the weight of the package on these Multi-Package pop-up windows--we have to manually enter the weight. There is no "Get Weight" button on the Multi-Package pop-up window.

Hi Dave,

This is a great suggestion and one that I have passed along to our Product Team.

We do not yet have ConnectEasy support for the popup window that allows you to add another package, however, it is on the list of features we would like to implement.

Please keep an eye on this thread by following it for any possible updates.

Why has it been 3 years and this simple feature has yet to be implemented. You have added all this functionality to the first box in the shipment and then when we go to add a second box to the shipment it all goes from ShippingEasy to ShippingHard. There is no support for the scale and there is no support for preset packages. We are even presented with a textbox called "description" which does not exist for the first box. It looks like the shadowbox that pops up came from a totally different software. Fix this before proceeding to expand the software outside its core functionality.
