You should refund all Express that aren't delivered on time!

I went to the post office with my Enicia receipts to get refunds for Express shipment refunds that weren't delivered on time and the costs they pulled up and tried to refund me for were very different from what I paid. I had to raise a pretty big stink to get what I actually paid. Are they pulling what you paid them and not the marked up rate I guess I pay for my postage?

I raised a stink and they paid me for all of it, but this is now a HUGE problem for me as a customer. I really didn't realize you guys were making a cut from the postage too. So now on top of me having to print out a receipt from endicia, the tracking and travel all the way to the post office. You are now telling me, not only are you guys making a cut off the postage, I now have to email you verification for what I am refunded at the post office? NOT COOL!
At the very least, you guys should refund all Express that aren't delivered on time and then dicker with the post office to get your refund. This is a HUGE frustration.

Hi Metina - Thank you for sharing your feedback!

While the delivery guarantee offered by USPS is a wonderful feature of Priority Mail Express, we understand that the process of receiving a full refund can be frustrating. Since USPS guarantees the service, the claim needs to be filed with USPS. Then ShippingEasy will take care of the rest.

Our team is actively reviewing how we can support the claims process to make it overall easier. For the time being, it's best to contact our Customer Success team with the tracking or order number for any delayed Priority Mail Express shipment.

I'll post an update back to this thread once we've worked out more details.

I want to share our updated process for notifying ShippingEasy when a refund is due for a delayed Priority Mail Express shipment.

Since the guarantee is provided through USPS, the process will still begin with filing a claim with USPS. However, we've made it easier to notify ShippingEasy when the amount refunded by USPS is less than the amount paid.

This guide provides a summary of the process and a form for shippers to fill out when an additional refund is required: How to: Get a refund for a late Priority Mail Express delivery
