I was told to use the feature request forum to ask for enhancements to make my shipping easier. I was told that they get "voted" on and then fixed. Well, I started to look and see hundreds of them months old and zero votes. It should be sortable by date, number of votes etc. I don't have the time to spend hunting around to see if someone has suggested what I would like. I work for a huge software company as a developer and we use a ticket system. If a client wants a feature, we open up a new "product change request", give it a tracking number and send to the teams to review. It may take a while, but we do the requests if they make sense and the customer has a very easy way to find out status. I am way too busy to be in a group forum about features. I just want a quick easy way to print labels and ship my stuff out. It's not a career.
Improve Feature Request Searching

Hello Jim - Thank you so much for your feedback. We have been in discussions as a team around the best ways to improve our Feature Request forums. There are two pieces that our team has to consider:
- The public setting for our customers to voice their ideas and for our team to provide updates. Currently we use Zendesk to manage our ticketing and Support Center. While the are a lot of advantages to Zendesk, we agree that there are some limitations with the Forum interface and have been, likewise, voicing our concerns in their forums. Here are a few of the threads that we're actively following and we'll be taking actions in these areas once we have the opportunity:
- The internal method of tracking developers' progress. We have a very efficient system internally for tracking projects that are in progress or queued. It sounds like you would like to see this more fully integrated with the public forums?

Hi Jim - I wanted to share that we've upgrade our Community Forums for greater control of search results. One limitation still applies, that searches must be made within the Community Forum section of our Support Center (and not the top level search) if you'd like to sort by status, votes, or comments.
We'll be continuing to extend status indicators and any other available filters to our top level search as these options are made available by Zendesk.
