Need a total amount of postage purchased in Reports by month and year end, the "official answer" does not give a totals only a long list of postage costs and you cannot make it monthly or yearly you need a perimeter box. Need to be able to print a user friendly report by month and year end.
This is very important for tax reporting!
Have to go to Endicia to get the report amounts. Urgent please request is two years now
I found that reports from Endicia, FedEx.com, UPS.com are often more accurate than any shipping software reports. These shipping software programs provide only estimates for costs. US Postal Service is different by being prepaid, thus is the most accurate, but still.

Thank you very much for this post. I've added it to our feature request, as it looks like we didn't have an exact post of this topic previously.
To currently access the postage costs on a monthly or yearly basis, there are a couple existing options:
Endicia reporting
ShippingEasy Reports, such as the Shipping Services Report, can also help to obtain this information. You can select a date range on the Reports tab to select the specific date range (you could select a full year or a month). A couple of things to note on ShippingEasy reporting is that we do not sum in our reporting, but you can export our reports and add sums through a program like Excel.
As Amtone inferred, when using a carrier that sends ShippingEasy rate quotes (like UPS or Fedex), the ShippingEasy reports will display the rate quote that was sent to ShippingEasy by UPS/ Fedex. It will not display the final charge that was charged by the carrier.

It's actually easier to just go to Endicia and print it from there without so many steps to take you have totals by month, year and by first class and priority.
It would be nice to have a monthly print out combining both from you
