Hi, I am trying my darnedest to get my magento 1.9 module to integrate to shippingeasy and I cannot get shippingeasy to connect to the shippingeasy control panel.

I am not sure if I have a version issue, the admin url is wrong or the API token requirements are not met.

Hello Douglas, and thank you for posting to our community!

If you haven't already, please make sure you are using Magento version 1.9.3.1, as version 1.9.3 had problems with many plugins including our own.

Also, you will want to make sure you have added your ShippingEasy user API key/token created in Magento, to the store settings in ShippingEasy. The steps for that are listed in the link below under the section "Now, its time to setup a new user in Magento."

How to: Integrate Magento (v1.x) with ShippingEasy

Beyond that, you will also want to make sure SOAP is enabled for the Magento Store URL entered in ShippingEasy. The link below explains how to check for SOAP.

What is SOAP and how can I tell if it is loaded on my Magento (v1.x) site?

If you continue to have connection issues after the steps above, you may want to try creating a new ShippingEasy user with a very simple password/key to see if that allows you to connect instead.

Thank you.

I had to check the version and this is what I have.

Magento ver. 1.9.2.1

What do I do to change the version? Do I uninstall and reinstall something on the site? Or in Magento itself?

Hi Douglas, if you want to update the version of Magento you are using, you may want to contact Magento support for the best assistance with that.

Keep in mind, however, that the recommendation to upgrade to version 1.9.3.1 was only if you were currently using 1.9.3. Since you are not, you don't necessarily need to upgrade your Magento version.

If you decide not to upgrade, please follow up with the other recommendations regarding your API key/token, SOAP and new user to try and resolve your connection issue.

Thank you!
