Hello,
Is there a way to seperate or categorizing low stock not on order and low stock that is on order. So that when ordering low stock is only showing what needs to be ordered.

I agree this needs to be added
Yes, this need to be a high priority.
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your feedback. I have added a request to our inventory queue to add an additional low stock filter option to the product catalog, to help differentiate what is on order vs what is not.
In the meantime, another update that we're hoping to implement this month is to make the stock columns in the product catalog sortable. This would allow you to sort the "Awaiting" stock column so that zeros (or products not on order) were listed at the top of the page. I understand this is not the specific request you have made but hopefully this will help to make things a litter easer in the meantime.

That is great to hear Tessa and that sort option should help some. Is there also plan on how to categorize SKU that are on backorder or discontinued?
Hi Caitlyn,
Ideally how would you like to categorize these SKUs? If an SKU is discontinued you could mark it as inactive in our product catalog which would hide/remove it from your main product view. However, are you trying to block sales or achieve something else when categorizing SKUs as backordered or discontinued? Is this simply an additional filter you'd just like to see in the product catalog or something else?
Hi,
I would think the best option would be for there to be a way to categorize or mark them as either backordered or discontinued so that when ordering the person ordering knows that they're on backorder (and maybe a spot to put a date when they should be available again) or the item is discontinued so that if it's discontinued you would be able to know when to end a listing.
Tessa,
This is actually 2 request.
Provide a Discontinue indicator should probably be a simple check box like we have for inactive. Show on inventory reports that the item is discontinued, this will allow us to make decisions to order less or more depending on our strategy. I too would like to see this.
Backordered is a bit more complicated.
I see it as as order has already been placed but it has not yet shipped. If we do not remove the item from a PO it is still available to receive and still shows up on order. But it is not on the current order, another column would need to be added to the inventory fields and you would have to figure out how and when to move it to the backorder field. I am not sure this is wise, just leave the unfulfilled quantities where it is would be an indication that it is on backorder.
I like what Randy is saying for the Discontinued option.
If there isn't an option made for backorder I think we could work around that, but maybe if it is possible to do to put some type of notes section in the PO when receiving so a note can be made on ETA on when the SKU would be available.
Hi Caitlyn & Randy,
Thank you for this additional feedback. These requests are still under review, however as we near the busy holiday season we will go into a code freeze in early November - to help ensure stability within our application. So, for this reason I do not anticipate being able to commit to either of these requests before the end of the year. That said, I will update this thread again as more information becomes available in 2018.

I agree, this needs to be added
