Choose only the sku's you want to manage/sync inventory

This should be a very simple fix, and many of the other inventory management companies use it b/c we need it.

It gives the option to pick which sku's you want to sync on which channels.

Having the pressure to sync 1000's of products on multi-channels is very unrealistic, risky, and dangerous.  Twice, I have overrided and screwed up my entire inventory having to spend days re-counting and getting straightened out.  Both times I was very angry.

Shippingeasy is one of the best companies I work with.  This simple, missing feature is really holding back your entire inventory program b/c there is no control.  Inventory is really complicated on our end for reasons beyond our control.  Some of the channels are extremely complicated for inventory "for example Ebay".  Trying to roll the dice that everything will be right and then pushing the "big red override button" and closing your eyes is shortsighted.

It has been a nightmare.  I know it would be very easy for the developers to fix and would be a great business/financial boon for shippingeasy inventory program.

Thanks

UPDATE: ShippingEasy retired the Inventory Management subscription in June of 2020. Our Product Catalog stores a comprehensive list of the products you sell and allows you to add your product information to leverage product and SKU details to ship more efficiently. Learn more about our Product Catalog.

Existing Inventory Management subscribers will still have the ability to use the features specific to Inventory Management, however, we are no longer supporting new subscribers.

This is a big problem for me since day 1.  Items set up cannot automatically be set to Send to Store, this flag needs to be No.  It is currently defaulted to yes,  Control need to be available at item level to turn on and via CSV to turn on, and maybe even select the item and turn on in the item listing.

Hi Luke & Randy,

Thank you for your feedback. Currently there are two (optional) settings available at the product level; Track Inventory & Send Inventory Updates to Stores. It sounds like the setting that you'd like more control over is the Send Inventory Updates to Stores toggle, is that correct?

Luke, am I also correct in assuming that for each of your products in ShippingEasy you them to update to some of your stores, but not all? So, ideally you'd want to control this setting at the product and at the store level?

Randy, it sounds like there are two updates you require; 1) Do not default newly created products to Send Inventory Updates to Stores to "On" and 2) provide a way to bulk update or change this setting. Is that correct?

If we were to add an option to bulk change this setting to our existing "More" button I assume you would also need a way to see the current value set on each product, similar to how our product categories work today.

Yes, you are correct.  This should be a high priority.  This type of enablement would allow any medium to large online retailer to migrate to Shippingeasy Inventory as cleanly as possible.
