HOLD order

0

ShippingEasy needs to add a similar HOLD feature as what's offered by ShipStation, whereby the user selects an order to place on hold, designates the date on which the order should ship, and then the order is hidden from the queue until that date, at which point in time, the order appears back in the queue.  Creating and assigning Categories is not a comparable alternative. Categories do NONE of this.  Bottom line desired feature: Orders that are on Hold are removed from the queue until a date set by the user.

Surely this is a feature that can easily be added, given that both companies are owned by the same parent.  Don't you all share developers?

YES! Not all our products are always ready-to-go at the same time. We often provide custom orders that take several weeks to fulfill. It'd be great to have some way of moving them to a "holding area" or a "pending/DO NOT SHIP" page until we're ready to ship. Instead, they just sit on the main orders page and we always have to be diligent not to accidentally click them as shipments. At the very least, when you categorize a shipment, the color applied should be more than a tiny little bar on the far left hand side. It should change the whole row of that order to the color so it really sticks out. Thanks!

Hi David,

Thanks for posting your feedback and details use case information.

At this time, we don't have a specific release date for an On Hold feature but it is on our team's list to consider for prioritization. I've gone ahead and logged your support of this as well.

As we already have a running thread regarding this feature request, please feel free to comment/like/follow on this thread.
