ODBC Export Shipping Data

0

Request an OCBC driver for exporting data from ShippingEasy. The Read Only connection should be able to retrieve the data such as ordered, shipping method, tracking, associated postage, etc. The data could then be easily mapped (by us, the customers) into many external databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Access, Excel, FoxPro, etc. Think this would benefit a number of people once it is pointed out to them.

Hi Jim,

We greatly appreciate your post to our feature request forum. Your active feedback helps us to consider what future features to look into.

Your detailed explanation is very helpful as well! I've logged your request for this export option and it will be under consideration for prioritization. If there are any updates, we will be sure to update this post and direct other customers to share their feedback here as well!

Thanks again!

Hello ShippingEasy,

Has any progress been made on creating an ODBC driver so that ShippingEasy customers can establish a read only connection to the ShippingEasy databases and download their order information?  This feature would be extremely useful for those of us that would like to work with this data.  I understand that we can manually download this information via the ShippingEasy reports, but this is cumbersome when creating automated operations that manipulate the data on the customer side for use with other internal applications.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this request.

Dave, we gave up on this and moved over to their partner ShipWorks. It stores all the data in a local SQL Server database and you can pull it anytime you want. Plus you can shove orders into it via ODBC too if you want and 'massage' the data as it goes in. Same cost too. Good luck!

Hello Jim, thanks for the insight!  I appreciate the response and recommendation concerning ShipWorks.  I'll take a look at that.

Best Regards,

Dave
