Postage Balances on Orders Page

It would be REALLY nice to be able to see my Postage Balance at a glance without have to leave Order and/or Shipping Screens

Hi Joe,

Thank you for posting your request to our forums! You certainly bring up an interesting pain point.

Would you be able to provide us some more details regarding your shipping process, where this is a factor? As we look for the best solution to meet everyone's needs, the more we know how this is impacting you specifically, the better we can target the solution.

One thing specifically would be helpful to know; Are you simply needing to know your postage balance, or is this affecting your ability to purchase labels from the Orders page using the QuickShip and Buy & Print options?

We look forward to hearing from you!

Hey Jacen,

Thanks for the reply and interest!

The way I personally ship, I do most of my work from the Orders Page.

I tend to use the Buy And Print process, but I am on Auto Postage so I don’t know if B&P will prompt me if I don’t have enough postage.

So do date, I have to manually total my Required Postage, then go to the Dashboard to see if I need to buy more. This was a pain point, so I setup Auto refill, but I don’t like it. I would rather have more specific control.

In any case,  adding the Postage Balance AND a Total for Required Postage (e.g. $Rate), I could, at a glance, know my situation.

I put together a screen shot example for you and it is attached.

Having these features would be a helpful, but it doesn’t hinder my workflow to appoint I would abandon Shipping Easy.

It would just be very helpful.

Perhaps there is already a way to achieve this that I am unaware of.

Just thought I would toss the idea in.

Thanks Jacen and have a great weekend,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Thanks again for the detailed response and suggestions.

Unfortunately our Buy & Print feature does not prompt for more postage at this time because it's for multiple shipments, but we are looking into some options for Quick Ship.

Our product team is very interested to hear more about the specific control you would prefer in regards to the Auto Refill, and any additional feedback you have about our Buy & Print feature.

Would you be open to speaking with one of our Product Managers directly via phone? If so, please let me know, and I will be happy to facilitate that.

Thanks!

Wow!  Seriously?  Did you read the post and look at the screen mock-up?

The original post asked for Postage Balance and $Rate total on the Orders screen. I asked nothing about Buy and Print

You asked for more detail and the process I used. So I gave that and stated I used Buy and Print.

Did you look at the screen shot I mocked up to Illustrate ?

I actually Circled the requested features in Red for you.

So I am fine with Buy and Print, but like to see

1) The Postage Balance on the Orders Page

2) The Total of the $Rate Column on the Orders Page

Buy and Print is fine

Need totals on Orders Page (Balance and $Rate)

Postage Balance and $Rate total, on Orders Page

That is the Suggestion I offered.

Thanks and if I can explain it better or do another screen shot, just let me know.

Hello Joe, and thanks for the response.

Yes, we did receive your suggestions, however those may not be something our Product Team can implement in the near future.

Alternatively, they are looking for ways to resolve pain points with our current options, and would like to speak with you further regarding the Autofill option and how to make that work for you. If you have any additional information about our Buy & Print feature they would be happy to hear that as well.

If you do not wish to speak with anyone, that's perfectly acceptable. We'll be happy to log your requests for the balance totals on the Orders page and if there are any updates, we will be sure to update this post and direct other customers to share their feedback here as well!
