I'm having a different issue than a previous post on this topic. Was using Shipping Easy with no issues for a few months, then for unknown reasons on a shipment, when I got to Print Label, I received an error message stating:
LABEL FAILED
This is the error message we've received back from USPS:
Invalid SOAP message due to XML Schema validation failure. The 'http://stamps.com/xml/namespace/2018/10/swsim/swsimv76:ZIPCode' element is invalid - The value '06066-3820' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://stamps.com/xml/namespace/2018/10/swsim/swsimv76:string-0-5' - The actual length is greater than the MaxLength value.
It LOOKS like it's unhappy with the zip code used in my signup. But I went into account setup and tried to change the zip code to just the 1st 5 digits and it didn't work. Then I tried to change address and it still won't work. I can't print ANY labels. I can't remove the labels. Basically, your service is dead in the water.
Any hlep would be appreciated; otherwise I need to know how to cancel service and get a refund for postage in the account. Then maybe I can try setting up new account or just go someplace else.
Hello Vanessa!
Thanks for posting to our community.
I was able to login to your account and see those failed labels. What I did, so that the updates you made would apply, is move those orders back to Ready to Ship, and then back to the orders page. I then brought them all back to Ready to Ship. I was able to process order 344 with no error. I left the other two for you to test to see if they go through.
Let me know if you continue to see the label failures.
