Shopify Edit Order

Shopify has implemented a new option to edit orders for things like wrong size, wrong item, add an item, etc.  Currently, Shipping Easy leaves the added item as unfulfilled and does not close out the order with the shipping information. 

It would be very helpful if the order would get updated within shipping easy so that it could properly close out in Shopify.

In addition to ShippingEasy not being able to communicate back to Shopify that an order has been fulfilled (therefore leaving it marked as unfulfilled in Shopify), it also appears that any order edits made in Shopify are not recognized in ShippingEasy - therefore, ShippingEasy ends up fulfilling the original, not the edited, version of the order. Canceled orders and address changes migrate over, but nothing else - so any edits to the items purchased do not get updated.

+1 for this.

Basically, for order fulfillment apps like Shipping Easy, it's required to upgrade the app to support the changes that Shopify has made. This was first released just under a year ago. There's a couple of relevant posts:

"If your app manages fulfillments in any way, it is especially important that you support edits to the order done by the merchant. Knowing the exact items on the order and what should be shipped is crucial to avoid errors and ensure the right products are delivered." Still hoping that y'all can support this Shopify change!

I like y'all's product, but without updates to ShippingEasy to support the integrated editing function that Shopify has, it's becoming obsolete. Please update!

Bump. Any update on this? Editing orders in Shopify has been around for over 2 years now and Shipping Easy still hasn't pushed out this functionality. This is causing issues downstream with some orders not closing out properly.

We use the OneClickUpsell for post purchase 1 click upsells and Shipping Easy causes 0 quantity orders to pass through to fulfillment. This API would fix that entirely.

Five years later, and nothing. We are seriously considering leaving ShippingEasy and just shipping directly out of Shopify
