When creating a product, you have the option to fill in the dimensions. It would be nice if Shipping easy would use these entries to calculate dimensional volume of each order, so that a rule could be created that applies a specific dimensional volume to custom packages.  This would make streamlining the selection of boxes WAY easier than creating a million different rules that could potentially apply to a shipment, just to get the right size box.

As an example, lets say I have 5 different products with the following dimensions:

1x1x1; 2x2x2; 3x3x3; 4x4x4 ; 5x5x5

Now lets say customer A orders a 1x1x1 and a 5x5x5. Shipping easy could have an automatic algorithm in place that determins a box that has internal dimensions of 6x5x5 or greater could fit this item.

Then, Shipping easy could create an option in Rules that would allow the customer to apply specific dimensional parameters to their shipping presets.

For example the rule could be:

IF:

Dimensional Volume (is greater than or equal to: is less than or equal to) - 6H, 6W, 6L

THEN

Select shipping preset

Customers would then just have to make sure that their shipping presets indicated the inside dimensions of their packaging, and create the rule to select the box they themselves would pick, ensuring room for whatever filling they will need to add.

This would greatly reduce the complexity of the rules that need to be created. I could probably have 300 rules to make sure the makeshift algorithm I have to create in rules correctly sorts through the 34 different Shipping Presets that I have in place. 

I have maxed out the rules i can create, and honestly spent several weeks now trying to hone all these rules to match my presets and I still catch several mistakes every day. This doesn't make for very streamlined automation.
