Inaccurate price/total value for customs

Quite often when I process foreign orders with items on sale the customs value is incorrect, even though the pricing listed for the products and the subtotal within the orders details is accurate.  Half of the time I can not even figure out where SE got  the prices. it seems it should be pulled from the order as I may offer a special for that customer only.  I have had a couple of customer complain about the taxes/customs paid as I did not catch this before shipping the order.

correct product details/prices (example my order # 114583 shipped on 1/24/20 - no coupon etc on this order for that to be a reason)

Hi Connie,

Thank you for posting our our forum!

Declared value is taken from the Product Catalog if a SKU matches the product on the order.  Please reference this guide and look under "How is Product data used to update my orders?":

Product Catalog | FAQs

If you would like to use the value that comes from the store order instead, I recommend removing the declared value from the products in the Product Catalog and then enabling the settings under International Settings to use the discounted price if the declared value is not specified.  More info and screenshots here: How to: Include Discounted Product Prices on Customs Forms

The declared value can be updated manually one-by-one or in bulk via a CSV file upload:

I hope that helps!
