SKU Alias does not work with Amazon MCF/FBA

0

We were told that our SKU Aliases do not work with the drop-ship function (Amazon MCF). In other words, the SKU that is drop-shipped must match the SKU that is on Amazon. However, this is not always possible or viable.

For example, we take our seller-fulfilled inventory on Amazon and we re-route it to Amazon MCF to be fulfilled from our Amazon FBA inventory. It is not possible for our seller-fulfilled inventory SKUs to match our Amazon FBA inventory SKUs (Amazon does not allow it).

Given that this type of order flow is essential for our business to operate in an automated fashion we hope a feature will implemented to allow this.

Note that Ecomdash, a competitor to your service, has this function.

Hi,

UPDATE: ShippingEasy retired the Inventory Management subscription in June of 2020. Our Product Catalog stores a comprehensive list of the products you sell and allows you to add your product information to leverage product and SKU details to ship more efficiently. Learn more about our Product Catalog.

Existing Inventory Management subscribers will still have the ability to use the features specific to Inventory Management, however, we are no longer supporting new subscribers.

FYI, there is a workaround but it's a manual process so not ideal:

You must edit the SKU for the order to match the one on Amazon FBA, then use the drop-ship function.
