Hello SE Team,
We're having an issue where it's impossible for us to go direct to an order due to the way SE handles order identification. In SE, every order is given an ID such as /orders/3515054321, however, this number is not posted anywhere outside of SE, nor is there a way to use an ?query= in the URL to link right to the order.
My proposal is that SE adds a query feature to /orders that allows you to put in your marketplaces order name, then redirects direct to the relevant SE order. As an example, if our Shopify order is 7469133 and the SE ID for that order is 3515054321, the first bullet below would redirect to the second.
- https://app1.shippingeasy.com/act/orders/3515054321
Why is this important? When developing solutions on 3rd party platforms, it's impossible to generate a direct link to an order. We have a system where we have all returns in a Monday.com board, I want a way for customer service to click a link to go direct to that order in SE. This would be a huge time saver and allow for even more SE functionality.
Thank you for your consideration
