I like that there's a default weight to specific SKUs. Cuts down on time to process labels. I get bogged down by other details like package size and Hazmat status. Some SKUs are always in the same size box and they are always Hazmat.

While we are able to assign Shipping Presets to products via Shipping Rules (which includes specific package size), we don't currently have a way to assign HAZMAT status or just Package settings to orders containing specific SKUs.
