OnTrac Integration Requirements

Connection Requirements:

Connect OnTrac to ShippingEasy

To connect an OnTrac account to ShippingEasy:

  1. Click CARRIER FUNDS from the left side navigation.

    Carrier Funds marked

  2. Scroll down to the entry for OnTrac and click the Connect OnTrac button.

  3. Fill in your Account Number and API Password.

  4. Then click the Connect Account button.

That's it - you are ready to create OnTrac shipping labels!

A service when you send a letter or parcel, in which the person receiving it must sign a document showing that it has arrived.

Signature Confirmation provides shippers with the recipient's name and the delivery date, time, and location; a copy of the recipient's signature will also be faxed, mailed, or e-mailed to you upon request.

The carrier integration can create multi-package shipments, where multiple individual packages are linked into a single shipment record with a master tracking number.

Special Considerations for OnTrac

OnTrac only delivers to:

  • California (CA)

  • Arizona (AZ)

  • Nevada (NV)

  • Oregon (OR)

  • Washington (WA)

  • Utah (UT)

  • Colorado (CO)

  • Idaho (ID)

Caution

If you attempt to use OnTrac to ship to an unsupported location you will see the following error message:

“OnTrac only delivers to CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, UT, CO & ID. Choose another carrier for this order.”

Packaging

OnTrac does not have carrier-specific packaging. The following ShippingEasy package selections can be used:

  • Package

  • Custom Package

  • Thick Envelope

The length, width, and height of a package cannot exceed 108 inches or 150 lbs.

Disconnect a Carrier

If you want to disconnect a carrier, simply click Disconnect to the right of the carrier name:
