Manage Logo on Shipping Labels | How To
Adding your logo to your shipping labels strengthens your brand by increasing customer recognition and expressing your company's personality. In addition to labels, adding your logo on your packing slips and email notifications is included with all paid subscriptions (Basic plans and above).
Logo on Shipping Labels - Feature Highlights:
-
Logos can be displayed on 4"x6" USPS domestic shipping labels. Learn how to adjust label format settings.
-
The logo will be placed below and to the right of the recipient's address.
-
You can assign a different logo for each store connected to ShippingEasy, so each store has unique branding.
-
Logos will appear on your packing slips and email notifications that contain the variable {{ store.logo }}. Learn more about editing your packing slips and email templates with variables.
To add your logo to your shipping labels, packing slips, and email notifications, you must first add your logo to your store settings:
-
Click Edit Store Settings under the store to which you want to add your logo.
-
Go to the Branding tab:
-
To add your logo to labels, click the Select button next to the Select a store logo for USPS labels setting.
-
To add your logo to packing slips or notification emails, click the Select button next to the Select a store logo for emails, packing slips, and signup forms setting.
This will open your computer's file explorer, where you can select your logo image from your hard drive.
-
-
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your logo.
Logos Will Not Appear in Test Emails and Packing Slips
Any test emails sent or packing slips previewed will display a placeholder image instead of your store logo.
ShippingEasy uses generic information not specifically gathered from your STORES & ORDERS settings to generate previews.
You can print labels without your brand logo by removing the logo from your store settings.
-
Click Edit Store Settings under the store from which the order was placed.
-
Go to the Branding tab and remove the file from the setting Select a store logo for USPS labels.
-
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Repeat these steps for other stores where you do not want to print logos on labels.
For the best results when adding a logo to your label:
-
The image file must be 1 MB or smaller.
-
The image must be in a 16bit PNG or 8bit JPG file format.
-
Rectangular images will display best.
-
Maximum image dimensions are 360 pixels wide (width) and 130 pixels tall (height). Any resizing required to fit the maximum dimensions will be done automatically and proportionally.
For example, an image 720 pixels wide and 130 pixels tall would be resized to be 360 x 65.
-
Image attributes can be changed with a photo editing program, such as Photoshop, Acorn, or GIMP.
There are a few situations when printing logos on shipping labels is not possible. ShippingEasy does not support printing logos on:
-
Amazon Prime labels
-
Non-USPS carrier labels
-
International labels
-
US territory labels
-
Military mail labels
-
4"x5" or 4"x8" labels
-
First-Class Large Envelope/Flat labels
In addition, Starter subscribers cannot customize the logo shown on labels. Instead, Starter plan subscribers will see the ShippingEasy logo on eligible labels.
