We have made label options easier to use in ShippingEasy - just set it and forget it! Once you have selected your preferences, you will never have to change again unless your label/paper type or printer changes down the road.

Set your label settings BEFORE you print shipping labels. Labels already purchased cannot be changed without canceling them. Learn how to cancel a label.

Understand Your Label Options
The LABELS settings page has three sections:

Print My Labels by: Determines the sequence in which your labels print.

Domestic Label Output Format: The paper size and format to which your domestic labels print.

International Label Output Format: The paper size and format to which your international labels print.
Expand the following sections for details on setting up each section.
The "Print My Labels by" setting determines the order in which labels and packing slips are printed.
Permissions
The "Print My Labels by" selection can only be changed by the Account Owner. Learn more about user permissions.
There are several options to choose from:

Order number sequence: Labels and packing slips will print in alphanumeric order, from the highest to lowest (Z to A, 9-0).
Examples: 6659 is sorted before 100554. SE117 is sorted before AB42222.

Order selection sequence: Labels and packing slips will print in the selected order and sent from the ORDERS and BATCHES page.

Item SKU (A-Z) Sequence: Labels and packing slips will print in the order of the Item SKUs, sorted alphanumerically from A to Z, 0-9.

Item Description (A-Z) Sequence: Labels and packing slips will print in the order of the Item Descriptions, sorted alphabetically from A to Z.

Warehouse Bin (A-Z) Sequence: Labels and packing slips will print in ascending, alphanumeric order (lowest to highest). For multi-product orders, the first product determines where the order is placed in the sequence.
To set up your account's label and packing slip print sequence:

Select the sequence option from the "Print my labels by" drop-down menu.

Click the Save button located at the bottom of the page.
The "Domestic Label Output Format" setting determines the label size and format used for domestic shipping labels.
This setting is user-specific. Each user login sets their domestic label format independent of other Users on the same account. Learn more about setting up the hardware on multiple workstations.
To set up your login's domestic label output format:

Select the label size from the "Default Label Size Option" drop-down menu. Be sure to select a label size that matches your label/paper size, and that is compatible with the shipping carrier(s) you use.
For this example, we will select 4" x 6" since we print labels from multiple carriers.
Supported Label Sizes
4" x 5" and 4" x 8" label selections apply only to USPS labels. For all other carriers, only 4" x 6" is available.

4" x 6": supported by all carriers

4" x 5": only supported for USPS domestic labels

4" x 8": only supported for USPS domestic labels

Select the label/page format that matches your type of printer, paper, and page layout by clicking on the correct image. Your layout preference is saved automatically.
For example, Select the image for 4" x 6" Label (w/ Packing Slip) if you are printing to a thermal printer using 4" x 6" labels and would like a packing slip printed in addition to the label.
The available label/page format options will be specific to the "Default label size option" you selected in step 1. Learn more about the available label formats.
Test Your Selection
Did you know that you can test any of the label/page format options? Click on the Test Print Settings link under any of the images.
Domestic USPS Label Options
The "Domestic USPS Label Options" section allows you to customize your domestic labels. Each available option will update the order information displayed on your shipping label. Learn more about customizing USPS labels.

Select the additional label options to be printed on your label by selecting the correct image.

Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your selection.
The "International Label Output Format" setting determines the format for your international shipping labels. International labels are only supported on 4" x 6" labels.

Verify that label/page format options print correctly by clicking the Test Print Settings link below any image. This is useful to ensure that your preferred format will print correctly.
