-
Signature Confirmation: Select from the available Shipment Confirmations for your shipment.
If you need to change an order that has already synced to ShippingEasy, you can quickly update the order from the Order Details slide out before processing the shipment. You may need to update your user permissions if you cannot edit the line items or recipient address.
The Order Details section is expanded when you view the Order Details slide out. You will see the open icon.
You will see the Ship From address, the Recipient address, the line Items of the order, and the Order Total details.
Click the Edit link for the order information you want to edit.
Change the Ship From address from your order. This is the address that will appear on the label. Addresses can be added in SETTINGS >> SHIP FROM ADDRESSES.
Click the Update Order button once your selection has been made.
Edit the recipient's address or add an email address for shipment confirmation emails.
Click the Update Order button once the changes are complete.
Change the item information in the order. This can be adding or removing an item or changing the Item Name, Quantity, Weight, and Price.
-
Item SKUs cannot be edited.
-
Display Product Options must be turned on in your store settings to display the Product Options. Learn more about enabling Product Options in your Store Settings.
-
Editing the Total (price) of an item is possible, but this will not update the $Total on the ORDERS page or the {{shipment.total_paid}} variable on Packing Slips or Email templates.
Due to the differences in how each platform treats an item’s cost (with and without tax), we are not currently able to re-total the whole shipment order amount.
Editing Order Line Items May Prevent the Order from Updating to Shipped Status
When ShippingEasy sends a notification to your store to mark an order as Shipped, we will match the shipment order details with the original order details listed in your store.
If you change the order information, the shipment order details will no longer match the original order details listed in your store, so the order may not be marked as shipped.
ShippingEasy allows three types of notes to be added to orders: Customer Comments, Internal Notes, and Gift Messages.
-
Internal Notes: Do not display anywhere outside ShippingEasy and are meant to help organize your shipping process.
-
Gift Messages, Customer Comments: Can be pulled from your store and edited in ShippingEasy or added in ShippingEasy after your order has synced.
-
Custom Fields 1 - 3: Available for manual orders and orders from our partner LuLaRoe. Learn more about Custom Fields in ShippingEasy.
Click the text box and type in your note.
International orders will now have Customs Information in the Order Details slide out.
Selecting Override Customs Forms will allow you to modify the following:
-
Total Order Value
-
Total Order Weight in Oz
-
Total Order Quantity
-
Description
Line item descriptions must be 50 characters or less.
-
Item SKU
-
Harmonized Code
The Look Up Harmonized Codes link will allow you to search for a term and display the results in a table. You can select the Code and apply the value to the field on the main page.
Harmonized Codes Required for All EU Shipments, Effective March 1, 2023
New European Union (EU) regulations will go into effect, requiring a Harmonized System (HS) tariff code for all EU-bound goods. With this change, the Postal Service will require an HS code for EU-bound goods.
-
Country of Manufacture
Package Content Type and Goods Description
The default Package Content Type is listed as Commercial (sold item) but can be changed in the drop-down once you have submitted your override changes.
The Goods Description is required for all packages sent to Mexico. This is a description of the entire package contents, for example: 1 pair shoes, 1 sweater, 1 hat. Learn more about Carta Porte requirements when shipping to Mexico.
The Goods Description field is limited to 35 alphanumeric characters.
Tax Identification Number
Suppose your shipment destination country is the United Kingdom (UK) or the European Union (EU) and requires a Tax Identification Number. In that case, you will see the types by carrier selection available to select.
