Sync Order Statuses in ShippingEasy
ShippingEasy will show the status information of each order from your store on the ORDERS page. When orders are brought in during a scheduled or manual sync, the order must be in a syncable status to appear. If an order is not in a syncable status but is changed to a syncable status later, ShippingEasy will sync the order during the next sync time.
Orders will sync into ShippingEasy to the following statuses:
-
Awaiting Payment
-
Awaiting Fulfillment
-
Awaiting Shipment
-
Partially Shipped
These statuses may be different from the statuses shown in your store. This is because the ShippingEasy statuses relate to your shipping workflow, to help you identify what stage orders are at in the shipping cycle. Syncable statuses and sync times are store-specific.

ShippingEasy will automatically sync orders every 1-4 hours, depending on your store platform. However, you can use the Sync option on the ORDERS page to manually refresh your orders sooner. Learn about syncing new orders and shipments.
Stores that do not sync
You can manage which order statuses sync into ShippingEasy for your store by following these steps.
-
Go to SETTINGS and under the INTEGRATION section and select STORES & ORDERS.
-
Click Edit Store Settings under your store icon.
-
Click the "Orders" tab and scroll down to the "Enable Order Statuses" section and check each status that you'd like to sync into ShippingEasy.
Note
Some stores have the option to include custom statuses. In the "Custom Status Name" field, enter the exact custom status name as it appears in your stores control panel. We suggest copy and pasting these to ensure accuracy.
-
Scroll to the bottom of the page and Save your changes.
-
Go to your ORDERS page and click the [Sync all Store icon.]
When the status changes in your store, ShippingEasy will update the status next time your orders sync.
ShippingEasy can recognize a change to the following statuses:
-
Awaiting Payment
-
Awaiting Fulfillment
-
Awaiting Shipment
-
Partially Shipped
-
Completed (WooCommerce REST API only)
This behavior is supported for the following platforms:
Orders must remain on the ORDERS page for any automatic update to occur.
If the order is moved from the ORDERS page and later returned, it cannot be updated via the API.
We suggest you have all of your orders sync to ShippingEasy when they are placed, regardless of the status of the order, so that they will be in ShippingEasy when you are ready to ship.
If an order is synced to ShippingEasy from any store platform not listed above, subsequent order updates in those store platforms will not be shown (ie. address changes, order status updates). Furthermore, updating any order details in your store can prevent ShippingEasy from marking an order as shipped with a tracking number (if included), when you buy the shipping label.
Note
Deleting an order in ShippingEasy will not remove the order from your store. In addition, cancelling a label in ShippingEasy will not update the shipment status in your store.
There are a few things to note about syncing orders:
-
Only orders that are in a status that you've selected to sync will actually download. Learn more about syncing order statuses.
-
If the status "New" is selected as one that will sync, only orders placed since midnight of the day before the manual sync will download. (Ex: A manual order download is requested on Wednesday. ShippingEasy will query the API for all "New" orders placed since midnight Tuesday).
-
If the status "New" is not selected to sync, only orders placed since midnight three days prior to the manual sync will download. (Ex. A manual order download is requested on Wednesday. ShippingEasy will query the API for all "New" orders placed since midnight Sunday).
