Emails often misdescribe Service Level

0

My shipping notifications will often describe the service used as "Priority Mail 2-3 days", but the label printed from Endicia says Priority Mail 1-Day or Priority Mail 2-Day.

This causes consternation from the customer's end whose order delivery is time sensitive.   Can't you query while you are printing the label to find out what the service time really is?

Lastly, when you CANCEL a label, an email still dispatches with the cancelled tracking number.   It's confusing to the customer when he gets the second tracking number which is merely a correction.

Thanks for reaching out. I can see how that would be very helpful so I have passed this along to our developers.

Please continue to post your thoughts and requests to our forum so that we are aware of our shippers' interests. Should we make any headway with this feature we will make note in this thread, so be sure to "follow" it for any updates.

ShippingEasy Update:

We have changed the names displayed for USPS domestic services in shipment notification emails and packing slips. The estimated transit time will no longer be displayed. For example, “Priority Mail (2-3 Days)” will instead just be “Priority Mail”.
