Hi David. Currently, I believe we actually already do the first - sending tracking info back to WooCommerce via a customer note. Unfortunately, it looks like this thread may not have been updated with a status of "Completed" - sorry about that!
However, these customer comments are private and won't be shared with your customer. I will make sure to add this to our list of features we'd like to consider in the future. Thanks!

Hi David,
As this thread is considered "completed", and closed for comments, do you mind posting your second request (the ability for your customers to view the tracking info) to this alternate thread? Your request is very similar to that thread (the only difference is that this customer is requesting the support be added for a plugin that already allows what you are asking for), so posting there would be helpful to our team when considering adding more features.
