Enable other users for Big Commerce's single click install app

I am assuming to use Shipping Easy - the person shipping must be logged into our Big Commerce account.

If so, right now only the "owner" can access the app through the control panel. Per the Big Commerce forum - the app owners can allow additional owners access as of May 2015 and they provided this page of instructions -

- How can we get this set up so I can enable access without them having to use my login id?

Right now in the "app" box nothing comes up

Note: re: In the "app" box - under user authorization is a list of apps that I can allow the user to access - but I am told it is up to the app whether or not they will allow it (per page link above)

Hi Connie,

After looking at your account, I see you are using our full integration and not the BigCommerce one-click application. That said, you are more than welcome to add additional users.

As for your request to allow all users to access the one-click app through BigCommerce, I am not sure if that is possible with ShippingEasy's one-click app. It sounds like something that BigCommerce is starting to allow for all apps, in which case you may need to reach out to them to make sure you have the proper set of steps to give everyone access. I will also forward this thread to our Product Team to see if they are aware of any changes that have been or need to be made to the app to allow this.

We were trained to access Shipping Easy through the Big Commercer control panel. When another user signs into our BC control panel - they do not have access to the Shipping Easy app because it will not come up in the list of user access options. Per BC the app developer must follow the guidelines shown in the forum.

Can I log into Shipping Easy directly (without going through our BC control panel) and have it sync with our store so I can use Shipping Easy's user account instead of BC's user accounts.

You should be able to by going to app.shippingeasy.com and logging in. I have forwarded this info to our Product Team to take a look.

Connie,

One more thing. After speaking with our Product Team, we think the best suggestion is the following:

The owner, while logged into ShippingEasy, can click on Settings > Users and then invite each employee to ShippingEasy, which will create ShippingEasy logon IDs for each of those employees.

That means the employees will access ShippingEasy differently than the main shipper, owner, or employer. The employer will use Bigcommerce and click on our icon over on the right side of the Bigcommerce interface.

The employees will just go to app.shippingeasy.com and login.
