freeze column headings in orders tab

0

On the open orders tab, please freeze the top green row with all of the column titles (and the buttons/menu above it) so that when you scroll down through your open orders, you can make selections, etc. and not have to scroll all the way back up the page to "create shipments" "group as batch" etc.

Hi Kathleen,

When you say "Freeze", I assume you are relating it to how Excel works with columns - is that right? If so, this is a great suggestion! I'll add this to our list of features to consider for the Orders page and reach back out via this thread should we prioritize or add the feature.

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, Rachel. Yes, that's basically what I meant -- you know how when you scroll down the orders screen, the left bar (search box and filters you can apply) stays in place? The same could be applied to the green bar containing the column headers and also everything above that (the "add manual order" etc links, the "create shipments" and "group as batch" buttons, and even the blue ShippingEasy link bar at the top. So that the orders only are all contained within their own scroll-down screen of sorts. That way when I scroll to the bottom of my orders to select all the ones I need to "group as a batch", for example, I don't have to then scroll allllll the way back up to the top to push the "group as batch" button.

Hopefully that makes sense :) Thanks again for taking the time to check in.

happy friday,
Kathleen

I couldn't agree more.  Shipstation does this and it speeds things up a lot.  Having to select orders and then scroll back up to the menu is a hassle, especially if you have a lot of orders.

The only issue I can see with this is it may not be as mobile friendly, which shipstation is not because of the "Scroll Lock"

I am guessing there is a way to figure this out though.

Hello Travis,

Thank you for your post. I've documented your support of this feature and it will be under consideration! We'll keep an eye out on this post for additional feedback as well.
Thanks again.
