When the server crashes (not common I'll agree, but it does happen), there should be a server status (maybe on the support home) to give us status updates?

We have staff on hand to do nothing but pick and pack orders.  When the server is down, and after 1/2 hour we don't know if it is just a few more minutes or a few more hours, we need to know whether to send staff home or not. 

Just a 'Down for maintenance' screen with no updated information is not enough when we are counting on you.

Thank you for your feedback. The incident you're referring to is proving to be a valuable learning experience for our team. It's prompted our Operations and Development teams to revisit our notification system. We are aiming to provide more real-time status updates in the event of future incidents. I don't have more information about our solution at this time, but rest assured that we're taking action.

Any update on a notification system?  We are seeing issues this morning also and it would be great to know that the team there is on top of it

Thanks for taking the time to post. We will put up a site alert in the top right corner for any long term or extended outages or disruptions.  We are consistently looking for better ways to inform Merchants and we will be reviewing the current process for improvements.

So on a night like tonight, where we can't log in to see a 'Site Alert' .. would this be a good time for a Server Status site?
