i'd like to see orders come in and go straight to orders. I don't see the point in selecting orders and then making shipments. Not a huge deal, as a rule sends most over to shipments, but I don't see the value of them stopping at the orders page.

Thank you very much for your response. As you touched upon, there is an option with Shipping Rules to skip the Orders page through the "Create a shipment for each order that meets the conditions of this rule." You could create a shipping rule to apply to all of your orders to send them onto the Ready to Ship page automatically. One option would be, "If Store is equal to [select all of your store platforms], Then [select an action]." Be sure to check the box for "Create a shipment for each order that meets the conditions of this rule."
For the action, you could select something like "apply order category" as this would not affect your shipment process. One thing to keep in mind as you would create this rule would be to keep in mind the order they are listed. This will ensure that the orders apply in the correct order.
