Switch and Save

Switch and Save lets you know when savings are available by switching to a lower-priced service. It's a great feature to help you save on shipping domestic packages.

How does Switch and Save work?

When applying carrier options for an order in ShippingEasy, if a lower price for that shipment is available from one of our ShippingEasy Carriers, the Switch and Save Savings Alert will appear. The alert will tell you how much you'll save by switching to that service.

If you'd like to save on shipping costs for this package, click Switch Now. This will automatically update the carrier selection to the lower-priced service, saving you money in a click of a button! It's that easy!

How to use Switch and Save

When using the Order Details slideout

  1. Navigate to Shipping > Orders in the left side menu.

  2. Click on a domestic order to open the slideout view.

  3. Configure the shipment details with a supported carrier service.

  4. Check the Cost Review section for the Switch and Save banner.

  5. Click 'Switch Now' as needed. This will automatically update the carrier selection to the lower-priced service.

When using the Ready to Ship page

  1. Navigate to Shipping > Ready to ship in the left side menu.

  2. Click on the order number for a domestic order.

  3. Check for a Switch and Save banner above the Shipping Cost section.

  4. Click the 'Switch Now' button as needed. This will automatically update the carrier selection to the lower-priced service.

Notes about Switch and Save

  • Currently Switch and Save only supports Domestic US shipments.

  • Switch and Save looks at shipments with USPS Priority or Ground Advantage selected and alerts you with potential savings when using UPS Ground or Ground Saver.
