USPS One Balance for ShippingEasy
All ShippingEasy plans include a USPS One Balance account powered by Stamps.com at no additional cost.
Stamps.com is our technology partner as the label server that provides an online service for purchasing USPS One Balance labels. ShippingEasy provides commercial discounts on these services as well as the interface through which you ship your orders.
If you have an existing Stamps.com account, it cannot be connected to ShippingEasy. To access discounted USPS rates in ShippingEasy, you must open a USPS One Balance for ShippingEasy account.
You will receive invoices and notifications from Stamps.com regarding your funds and billing.
You can update your One Balance contact information and email address at Stamps.com. Follow our guide for step-by-step instructions on updating your One Balance billing information.
ShippingEasy uses your One Balance password to connect with the Stamps.com label server. This password can be accessed and updated in ShippingEasy.

Connection Requirements:
-
A USPS from ShippingEasy One Balance account is created for you when you sign up for ShippingEasy.

Stamps.com will charge $1 when the account is set up, or payment has changed, usually to verify a credit card. This charge will drop off depending on the bank's timeline.
For damage, loss, or other issues with USPS shipments created using your Stamps.com account, you must file claims directly with USPS. ShipStation Support does not manage the claims process for shipments created through connected Stamps.com accounts.

USPS shipments created through your Stamps.com account require direct interaction with USPS for package intercept or redirect requests. ShipStation Support does not assist with USPS package intercept requests.
To request a package intercept or redirect for a USPS shipment, submit your request directly to USPS using their Package Intercept service.
USPS Fee Notice
USPS charges a fee for Package Intercept services. Review the USPS Package Intercept page for current fees, eligibility requirements, and service limitations.
-
USPS labels will no longer display the transit time for Priority Mail shipments in the label banner.
-
ShippingEasy will automatically select the correct US Postal Service customs form based on your selection of service and packaging. Once printed, attach the forms to the parcel or place them in an enclosed pouch and attach that to the outside of the box.
-
Some shipments will only require one copy of the customs form (combined into your shipping label), regardless of the form type. These shipments include:
-
Military Mail (APO, DPO, FPO, MPO), U.S. Territories, and the Freely Associated States)
-
Australia
-
Canada
-
Costa Rica
-
-
When shipping First Class International Mail to any destination, or Priority Mail International to Military Mail and U.S. Territories, the total value of the shipment cannot be more than $400. The value would need to be adjusted, or the order could be split depending on the package details.
