it takes double work to print doc for international shipping
We use a variety of packaging options (envelopes, corrugated boxes of different sizes) and it would be helpful to specify the exact packaging type for the person fulfilling orders. The USPS labels indicate envelope or medium flat rate box but when we use our own custom boxes it only gives the weight. It would be awesome to have a line item on the label or packing slip that shows what box to use for shipping.
It would be helpful and look much more professional if the delivery address could be standardized to match USPS standards and abbreviations. While ShippingEasy verifies the accuracy and adds the Zip+4 of the delivery address, it does not correct abbreviation. It would also be helpful if the email notification to the customer could be corrected with proper capitalization of first and last names, etc.
Currently the options for a product are all listed in one big long line making it very hard to read. If you have a product with 5 plus options it takes very careful reading to see the options and not make mistakes.
I would like my packing slip to display the discount code my customer used. Sometimes we will run promos where a customer spends $100 and can use a coupon code for a free item. The only way for me to tell if I should include the item is by reading which coupon code they entered during checkout. Please integrate this so I do not have to check each individual order in Shopify before shipping.
It would be nice to be able to add tags for a reference to each order. We run a food business and when you ship food you need to track ingredients. This applies to anyone that deals with food. When we go to ship the product we have to note the unique ingredient/batch number(s) to that individual order. If they order more than one product we need to be able to tag multiple numbers. A tag would look like ALMOND120315 (product and production date). These tags will need to ...
When some one buys something from me on amazon, a lot of times its not supposed to ship till a future date...could be a week to a month away. As it is now, when that happens I need to scan everything to find the ones that are supposed to ship now. So if we could separate orders by ship date that would save me a good bit of time. thanks dave
ShippingEasy Update: This is a duplicate. Please see this alternate thread. It would be great to click on a link and a single screen would pop up showing the rates from all the carriers that I have selected in settings. It's a bit cumbersome the way we have to do it now by selecting the carrier, choose the service, choose the package, update the weight and size, and then do it all over again for each service provider. Because we have the ability to input our individual ac...
We do not use shippingeasy for anything other than printing postage. We do not use its inventory tracking or even the built in item weights. We weigh every package when making the label. When we have a package that has a partial backorder, can we get an easier way to leave customer info in the open order section than having to split the shipment? Just need a selection that is say "Print and Keep Active." That way, when we go to ship the rest in a few days, we just click...
Our webstore (volusions) has the option to partially ship or partially backorder something. It does not allow us the ability to reverse marking of complete on an order. Sometimes we have to go in and make a change or refund after an item has shipped (say we need to partially ship an item and it was shipped before edited). Shippingeasy made things simple by completing the order entirely. Would like to see a simple option on the label creation page to simply Not Complete T...
When printing an international label for a country that does not have tracking, I'd like to see the customs label number visible in the tracking field. That label number is still used while the package is moving in the USA and would provide some proof of shipment for my customers (and insurance claims). It already shows up in my 3Dcart section so it does seem like it is getting passed along somehow.
By default when you are reviewing your shipment via the Ready to Ship page the field below your "Shipping Costs" displays "Shipping Addresses" which is collapsed by default. Would it be possible to keep this tab expanded by default or at least an option to allow or collapse it under the Settings section. The staff internally like to review the addresses one last time prior to scheduling a shipment and this would help them trust all the data is being passeed to ShippingEa...
ShippingEasy Update: This is a duplicate. Please see this thread. We have just started using the "add notes" feature on the Orders page which creates internal notes for anyone logged in to our account to check what's going on with a particular order; would it be possible to add this same feature to the Shipment History page so that we can add notes to an order about a shipment status or change after the label has been created?
PLEASE help us out and add the transit times according to service type to make selecting a service SO MUCH EASIER. Each time we ship with FedEX we have to log in to Fedex.com to check. This would save us a TON of time and maybe even some money (i.e. would prevent somebody shipping perishables from paying more for Express if indeed Ground would get it there in the same amount of time).
The way it stands now, one has to type the prefix into the FIRST NAME box, along with the first name.
I would like to see splitting of single quantity items into more than one package. I sometimes have to dismantle an item to ship it in separate boxes. It's still one item from the viewpoint of my online store. I have a work around but I then have to upload a second tracking number and the two tracking numbers are not connected on the carrier side. When using both FedEx and USPS's websites you can create a single shipment with multiple parts. It would be really nice to do...
I can't change the ship from zip code on the fly. Even when I change it in settings and duplicate a label, I can't seem to change the ship from zip code.
On my drop ship orders, my drop shipper emails me the tracking number for my customer. Once I have it I can forward it to my customer but that's inefficient and looks unprofessional. It would be much better to input that tracking number into shipping easy and send them the tracking along with all the other orders for the day. This would be part of the branding package. This way the customer gets a nice email with my logo, what they ordered, total costs, and of course the...
ShippingEasy Update: This is a duplicate. Please see this alternate thread. I'm on a trial of shipping easy. Things were going fine until I found out you don't support Fedex labels with doc tabs. All of our labels use doc tabs which is a big show stopper for us as the labels aren't printing correctly.
I would like to see the abililty to have different printer preferences for the different stores I operate. Example; My BigCommerce stores labels and printed on my Thermal Printer 4 x 6 label along with the packing slip (works great) For Amazon store orders I would like the ability to print my ship label on the same thermal printer, but print the packing slip on another printer on an 8.5" x 11" Please let me know if this is possible and I'm just missing something.
There are 20+ countries that have tracking available for 1st class international packages. Is it possible to show on the screen if tracking is available for these countries when 1st class & package are chosen (as endicia) does? If tracking isn't available we send 1st class flat envelope because it is cheaper. Thanks.
ShippingEasy Update: This is a duplicate. Please see this alternate thread. When we print a return label there should be an option to add RMA Number. This will help us to get organized more when the products are returned and also to issue proper credit.
ShippingEasy Update: This is a duplicate. Please see this alternate thread. The packing slips do not show the tax amount on items that need tax charged. The total amount does not match the amount charged to the customer.
In the Shipment History section, it shows a recipient name. Some of these recipients are also businesses. It would be very helpful to show their company name as well, or just their company name because that is how they are addressed. Even if you had to add a second line to capture the business name, that would be very helpful.
We use Solid Commerce for our order and inventory management and everything gets pulled into ShippingEasy. I would be great if we could get the Marketplace Name also pulling into Shipping Easy as Solid Commerce does have this in a separate column. This would really help in filtering order based on market place so we could save time in doing it manually.
I have product options that are not importing in to Shipping Easy which I would like to appear on the packing slip. I am using this plugin for the product options http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-extra-product-options/7908619 So can you update the plugin to grab the extra meta data and bring it into the shipping easy app.
I want Customer comment and gift notes to show in Pick list.
The current setup has APT, Unit, or Suite numbers on a 3rd line, however, sometimes customer don't put apt or anything and just a number. This will show on the 3rd line. Sometimes this can be an issue with USPS because it reads from bottom of the address and up. So it will think it's a street number with no street and may cause delays or issues with delivery. I've gotten returns from address like these before. name Street address APT # City, State Zip Here is the USPS ad...
As of now, duplicating a label sends it to the payment page which does not allow you to edit the order. Usually the duplicate is not the exact same as the old order. So it's important to be able to edit the order slightly. We usually just need to edit quantities. This is important for me to be able to manage these special orders quickly and effectively rather than telling my shipper "Hey ship John Doe 2x widgets". Instead I could just easily create a duplicate shipmen...
Currently, in Shipment History, I clicked on specific order #, it will NOT display the warehouse information. It is useful when I need to go back to shipped order to find out which item is shipped from which warehouses. At this moment, when order is shipped, the Warehouse information is gone.
